Butterfly Enthusiast

I became a butterfly enthusiast when I was younger. I would wait for the summer to come around. There used to be so many different patterns and sizes. My father who was a Biology Professor at the time was really into butterfly species. He told me how they evolve. Would draw on a napkin the life span of a butterfly. It was to me very exciting. I would go outdoors and collect them in a an old peach jar.I did not keep them it there long. Now being the age I am I still can't wait for summer to see them again. Yet they have become more of an endangered species then a vital species to the world we live in
