2013 CALENDAR   34 x 34 inches

For this project, we were asked to design
a 2013 Calendar that reinforces a concept
about time. My concept is “A stitch in
time saves nine.” This concept refers to
a continued effort of progress. Ultimately,
my calendar is made up of 365 numbers
and dots that will be stitched daily. The
dots and numerals take the shape of a
chrysanthemum, which symbolizes fidelity,
optimism, joy, and long life. In turn, this
relates back to the concept of progress
and fully living.
