TALL SHIPS EVENT POSTER   25 x 36 inches

Starting from collage compositions that we created in class,
we were asked to design a poster for a cultural event in
Providence.This poster is for the Tall Ships event that is
held in Newport, Rhode Island. I wanted this piece to look
modern, but I did not want to lose the vintage and historical
nature of the event. I modified the collage structure in the
background by using my own photography. I then layered
sail-like imagery on top of it to give it a nautical look.
