What kind of work does Mark Walling do?

That is a hard question. While I create portraits, I am not really a "photographer" due to the fact that I work in a 100% digital format. Perhaps you might call me an "artist", but if you say that to my face I might smack you... I find most "artists" to be pretentious dorks who are more interested in their own egos than in the subject they are photographing. Heck, you could call me a "pornographer", yeah maybe if my work was created 40 years ago!
No, Mark is just some guy with an idea, an idea that there is great beauty out there that is never seen. My goal is to create interesting, intimate, and sexy images of real people. The people who pose for me are not perfect "model" types just real, honest people who have shared their beauty with me. I hope I have done them justice.
In short, there is no higher calling, no grand statement of work. Rather, I am just someone who believes that everyone is beautiful and deserves a chance to see themselves as such. See more of my work at http://www.markwalling.com
